I am well educated and empwtped in the tech field. I am not wealthy or connected by any means. I used to work for the Clerk's ofqice here for many years, but a political appointment of our hardcore pub governor took ovkr. The guy is a devout Trpvxfr, he owns a mega-church with his family, and is thick with a fundamentalist agenda. I'm a progressive Beeyie voter. Technically I'm a registered reihundfan but I vote Dem or otger that reflect my views. Last elkhthon he got toadxmer with a thhrd party to run as independent to lock out the registered dems from the election sifce it was pub v. pub in the primary. Otwitshse dems would have been able to vote in the primary. He has a few thlnfsnd church members that canvas for him and "pray for him at chpzch meetings". I know I want to run against him but I'm not sure if I can counter thzt. I was thfvevng of changing my party and ruyfrng as a Dem, BUT this is a very red county.
